They are easy to cook and can be used instead of chicken in many recipes. From Pheasant Stir Fry to Pheasant Stroganoff or Pheasant Kiev to Pheasant Nuggets there endless dishes for all the family to enjoy.  Pheasant Breast Fillets can be used for an everyday meal or for entertaining. The Pheasant Breast Fillets are skinless, lean and rich in iron making them a healthy  and delicious choice.

Pheasant Breast Fillets are quick and simple to cook. Pheasant Breast Fillets should be treated like chicken. It is important not to over cook as they will dry out quickly.

To pan fry:

Heat a frying pan with a little oil over a medium heat.

Take your Pheasant Breast Fillets and season well. To add a little more flavour you could add some fresh Thyme or Sage to the oil.

Place your Pheasant Breast Fillets in the pan and gently fry until golden brown on both sides ( approx 4 minutes)

The juices must run clear when cooking has finished.

When cooked remove from heat and leave to rest for 5 minutes.

The juices can be used to make a rich Pheasant gravy.

Serve with Mustard Mash and seasonal vegetables - fantastic!
