Venison Striploin is from the saddle and one of the best cuts of meat you can get.  This fabulously tender and lean piece of meat makes the perfect dinner party or special occasion meal.  The Venison Striploin is fully trimmed and ready to cook. It can be cut into steaks, pan fried or used to make a heavenly Venison Wellington.

To Pan fry a Venison Striploin:

Heat an oven proof  frying pan with oil, add the Venison Striploin, season on all sides, cook until brown on all side, usually 1 - 2 minutes. Place in  a preheated oven at 200c (180C fan), cook for 6 - 8 minutes, turn occasionally. Remove from the oven add butter, thyme garlic to the pan. Leave the Venison to rest for 10 minutes basting with the butter. Remove the Venison from the pan and slice. Serve with a rich sauce and seasonal vegetables.
