A truly simple Wild Boar Roast:-

We recommend that you allow 15 minutes per 1lb /450g + 20 minutes cooking time at 180 C / Gas Mark 6

Preheat your oven to   180 C / Gas Mark 6

In a heavy frying sear the meat allover until golden brown.

Season the Wild Boar with salt black pepper, oil and any other seasoning of your choice.

Place in a roasting tray on a bed of root vegetables.

Roast in the oven at 180 C / Gas Mark 6 ensure the juices run clear when cooked.

Allow the meat to rest for 10 minutes before carving. Serve with root vegetable mash and a rich fruit sauce - amazing.
