Pigeon Fillets are a healthy meat. they are rich in iron, protein and Vitamin B3. The Wild Pigeon has a very natural woodland flavour.  The deep gamey  flavour of Pigeon Fillets make them delicious with a rich red wine sauce.  Pigeon Fillets are quick and easy to cook, they make fantastic light lunches or suppers and are great for dinner party starters. 2 Pigeon Fillets are idea for one person as a main meal or 1 Pigeon Fillet for a starter.

Please note all our game is wild and shot and although every effort is made to remove any shot on rare occasions traces of shot may be found.

It is important not to over cook Pigeon Fillets as they will become tough. For Plain Pigeon Fillets season with a touch of Black Pepper and pan fry on a high heat for 2 minutes each side. Leave to rest for at least 5 minutes and serve pink. For a great family meal with a difference try pan fried Pigeon Fillets served on top of a bowl of pasta with pesto or served in a pitta bread with salad.
